Current Research

I am currently a postdoc in Maria Anisimova’s group at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. My main project studies the evolution of repeat proteins, such as armadillo repeats.
Other interests include internally symmetric proteins (CE-Symm), protein complexes (EPPIC), structural biology, open-source development (BioJava, The Open Bioinformatics Foundation), and open-access science (PLOS Topic Pages).
